Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know how to code?

No. If an AI tool made it, you can publish it. Ask your agent to publish with Matterhall, or run one command in the folder it created.

What can I publish?

Almost anything an AI tool can make: dashboards, calculators, reports, PDFs, prototypes, static sites, and full web apps with a server and data.

Can people outside my company see my work?

Only if you share it with them by email, and they still sign in first. There is no public link. A forwarded link opens nothing.

Why not Vercel, Netlify, or Cloudflare?

They’re built to put websites on the public internet. Matterhall is built for company work: private on every plan, one command instead of repos and build settings, and one price per workspace instead of per member. See the comparison.

Why not just share from ChatGPT, Claude, or Lovable?

Those links open for anyone who has them, belong to one person’s account, and are invisible to IT. Matterhall makes the same work private, keeps it current behind one link, and keeps it with the company.

What happens when someone leaves the company?

Their work stays. An admin transfers ownership to someone else, and the link, versions, and sharing carry over.

Where is our data stored?

Customer data is stored and processed in the United States, in Google Cloud’s us-east1 region. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and published content is served from an isolated domain, separate from the Matterhall application.
